As we have nearly finished our 2018 wedding season, we will start to work on trials for 2019 and are now getting ready for the new trends of hairstyles.

Tongs on the ready as we hit 2019 – here is what you will need to know from undone updos to wedding braids.

Ethereal curls and updos got even more beautiful at the Barcelona Bridal week as Alejandro Resta`s models enchanted the fashion crowds with their horticultural halos. Also, seen at the Jenny Packham, wtoo by Watters and Reem Acra, flower crowns and half crowns are most definitely back on the agenda.

The catwalks were in full bloom for spring from oversized floral crowns to individual blossoms nestled in curls.

I prefer to work free hand and add the flowers in the hairstyle I have created, unless you want a half crown or full crown.

Your wedding makeup and hair is very much determined by your wedding dress, so there is not much point in having a makeup and hair trial until you have your dress.

Although, we still have lots of braids this coming year, but they are more hippy braids, very soft and some incorporated into the hairstyle. If you have chosen an updo make sure it is soft and it frames your face well.

Also long hair tendrils in a very soft wave, we saw this a lot in 2018 and will be huge in 2019 also, this style can also require clip in extensions to give volume, and make sure the waves stay for the whole day and evening.

Also, don’t forget the chic, understated and classic Ponytail, this coming season it is going to create quite a stir. With this style, you can go a little more crazy with the makeup and volumised ponytail.

The biggest trend of this coming year is the tiara, it seems that the tiara is making a huge comeback for 2019 whether it is small or more ornate, and the tiara can look amazing with a long or short veil.
